Fascinating behaviour. There have been a few theories about compassion in mammals, recently. Although I think compassion is an anthropomorphic term, I guess one could say mammals exhibit behaviours similar to compassionate ones.

Indeed, quite fascinating! Animals like these one have similiarites to humans especially act, language and the way of live.
