Danes are slightly more comparable to Poles than Dutch, albeit both are far off. Besides and after ancient times there was more population intermixing along Baltic Sea than with people westward when it comes to us.

The differences between North Germanics and North Slavs are exaggerated. Give a Dane and a Pole or a Russian the same clothes, hairstyle ,.. and it will be often hard to tell them apart.

By looking at the most dominant phenotypes in these very Germanic populations.

Danish ( North Germanic)
Borreby
Dalofaelid
Hallstatt Nordid
Anglo - Saxon
Tavastid ( East Baltid type)

Dutch ( West Germanic)
Keltic Nordid
Borreby
Anglo-Saxon
Dalofaelid
Hallstatt Nordid

Vs

Polish (West Slavic)
Neo - Danubian
Ladogan
Gorid (Alpinid)
Dinarid
Hallstatt Nordid
Norid
Tavastid ( East Baltid)

Therefore although those two very Germanic populations differ from Poles. We can say that of the two, Danes would be closest due to the East Baltid connection.

These do not look alike! Danes are on average larger and longer-headed than Slavs. Although a minority is of East Baltid phenotype. Danish people are as a whole blonder-haired, lighter-eyed than Poles or Russians.
