I think that Celtic ancestry in the Balkans is negligible. This sample is probably just similar to modern Iberians (70% Farmer + 30% Steppe\Hunter-Gatherer).

We have mix from multiple directions. Celtic, Greek, Roman, Scythian etc..
In the context of admixture, nobody is more Pan-European than Balkanites :P

If you are talking about paternal lineages then you might have a point. In Western Europe there's always a clearly dominant lineage whereas in the Balkan region you've got more diversity.

People who doesn't have paternal ancestry from Anatolia so all except (I, J, E, G) are recent Italians (last 1500 years).
Troyans were not R1b.
All you hear from those "Scientists" are lies.
There is NO Republican Era R1b except if he was a Slave or Gladiator.
J2a were Troyans, I2a were Gauls.
R1a and R1b are Gomer and Magogites from Steppe. They have only founded Terror in Rome, and they came in 5th century A.D.

I don't know how is this related to that what you posted, I was reading 12th century Byzantine Chronicles (Scrolls) and
in one of them it is says: "These Franciscans (how they addressed Italians) are not Italians, but rather those Catalans are Italians (whom they remember as one)"
Could they be right, in the sense that Catalans and Southern Spaniards are more Ancient Italians than modern Italians?

Alans=Circassians, Adyghes, Ossetians, Nakh people
Hittites=Armenians, Assyrians
Canaanite&Semitics= Assyrians, Phoenicians.
Well I get 8.48% Canaanite&Semitics on MTA, on gedmatch K36 I get 3.20% Arabian and 14% East Med.So according to that, Kurds, Iranians and Turks get high percentage of Canaanite&Semitics on MTA.

do you realize that these percentages aren't supposed to show admixture or ancestry?
They show your current ancient admixture according to the available ancient samples (so it's not very precise)
It does not show ancestry. Ancestry can only be traced by Y-DNA and that's very hard to track.
However, current admixture shows your possible ancestry due to mixing with certain groups.

it's not that either. it's just a statistic of all samples you "match". it doesn't mean you can be modelled as a mixture of all of them.

Alans equal Ossetians, their direct descendants, though it would make sense surrounding people get related results, and Canaanites does not equal Assyrians, but mainly Phoenicians, Jews, and Carthaginians, although if it says and Semitics, then maybe Assyrians.

That's why I said things are weird on this, because my no.1 match is a Morisco one and I don't have any on % or the first list. In fact, my first page list is on 17+ range (Roman + Roman Hispania) while it should be lower if it was Roman + Al Andalus.

People who seem to get "al andalus" are all iberians not north africans and as for your morisco ancestors are you sure? Because i've read that it was forbidden for them to travel to America (maybe via spanish settlers who themselves had morisco ancestors idk). There is also a "moor" sample but I never have it weirdly and the carthaginian sample here isn't really carthaginian it's a phoenician sample from Ibiza

My ancestors moved back to Morocco and stayed there for many years before moving to Brazil. That's why I get a quite high North African number, because they probably mixed with locals in Northern Morocco. If it was an Iberian with Morisco background alone, no way I could have 10% North Africa with just one 1/16 ancestor lol

That really happened, but mostly Sephardi Jews; this is part of a wiki article saying that Sephardi Jews started to come to Brazil in 1810 mainly from Morocco:

But the distances are pretty huge, 17.00 is a huge distance (especially considering this test). You probably still cluster in Europe, but far from the European populations of your racial make up and probably near Sicilians or similar guys.

That's the point. I'm far because I also have North African, Central Asian, Native American and SSA backgrounds.
So, while the distances are logically huge, would be closer if this was a mix of Roman with any other group related to those backgrounds. If it was Roman + Al-Andalus/Greco-Bactrian or even Native/Bantu, would be probably lesser than 17 (like any 2-way or 4-way from Gedmatch calculators). Still, dunno why they gave me this mix since it makes no sense when it comes to proximity. I'm saying this because they have all those groups.

Al-Andalus is basically an Iberian, the distances would still be huge. Greco-Bactrian is a Balkanite Greek. Probably using Bantus or Natives would make the fit worst because your DNA cannot be modelled in a two-way European - African or European - Native, these admixtures are below 20%.
