Is the younger generation way more culturally and racially clueless?

i noticed people my age never/rarely guess my ethnicity correctly whereas those who are older almost always do. Why the disparity?

Because they're just young. Nothing to do with the generation. Older people are usually more educated and knowledgeable about things as they are more experienced.
