I remember there was an old thread about the Celtic versus Germanic PCA , from Davidksi, but it used his old PCA plot which was hard to discern exactly where you fit even using PAST with color so he added a new vahaduo tool for easier clarification :

I plot closest to these Germanic groups : Norwegian, North Dutch, and Lowland Scottish the blue ancient mark close to me is ancient Swedish viking

I think it depends on the method used . The first two PCAs seems to have used coordinates from here :

Where as the second three PCAs seem to be using G25 coordinates I use the first method

I would guess unscaled because the source data does not say scaled in it's name.

This is a different plot than the G25 and different coordinates. You have to get your Celtic vs Germanic coordinates from Davidski. It was designed to catch specific Irish and British drift.

Being Irish this plots me as very Celtic as this is just what this was designed for.
