Have to include some songs by a band described by some Goths as "Too Gothic"!?

This is all from early on. They aren't so good later on, changes in band members.

Lacuna Coil gets a bad wrap, but IMO they are one of the more solid mainstream bands out there.
I really dig their cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence"

They do a cool cover of "Stars" as well (which was made by Dubstar who were kind of electronic).
And I figure some of Depeche Mode's stuff can be classified as Goth.
Quite often somebody pipes up with a "so n so sux" opinion after which a legion of sheep join in to parrot their disapproval. We see it happen in movies where good films are slated by the herd or where bad films are talked up like it was the Second Coming.
As for as the bad wrap, I usually subscribe to the f*** the critics philosophy unless a group is truly diabolically useless.

You didn't happen to see these guys when they came to Pensacola, did you? They came at the behest of some girl, played a two hour show at a bar with some death rock band and then went to go eat dinner with the girl and her parents. Weird guys, but it was an awesome show. They played tons of stuff from Telemetry of a Fallen Angel.
Anyway, great stuff so far, especially NOSFERATU!!!
Here are a few great songs that haven't been mentioned yet:

Dude, holy crap lighten up. It was in good humor, no harm intended jeeze louise. Wrong video link I see, this was the one I had wanted to post:
I was googling Germanic Goths, as in the tribe, trying to find Youtube vids, this was the closest thing that popped up. Now can we be done being butthurt over a joke?

Some more 80's goth back when I feel they had more diversity and creativity and before people tried too much to copy Sisters or Fields.

That was what I was implying in my joking post(about the Goths being a Germanic people), but I guess joking about the "Goth" issue is a no no? From what I've seen in response to the post I did.

WONDERFUL American band, and certainly one of the more tasteful and expressive videos to come out for a while in the gothic doom scene.
A SHATTERED LIFE IS ALL WE HAD!!!!!!!

This track can possibly be one of the most forlorn, desolate things I may have ever heard. A perfect musical example of depression at it's bleakest, moments before razor meets vein!

I always want to blast "Monsters" at full volume, but I don't want the neighborhood to think I'm holding a drag show. :D
