Agree, neanderthaloid seens to be the only classification possible to fit the first guy's taxonomy.
He ressembles the homo de Spy neanderthal:

Btw, I've saw a thread about the two, is not the second one the son of the first one?
Maybe he Just didn't looked so much like the first one because was too young in the photo.

These are two Scotsmen from Shetland that appear in Ripley.
Already very rare at the time.
The look similar, probably relatives.
First man has a flat forehead and pronounced noise, secon has a more ripid profile.
Dark and possibly Brachycefalic they might represent pre-nordic Brits.
Man could actually approach Borreby features (flat forehead, pronounced nose).
Or it could be just a Neolithic/Bronze Age combination.

If you narrow t he face of first man you get a good “Keltic” type.

Agree again, they do look very borreby, but when i say "borreby" i am talking about the borreby skulls found Denmark/Sweden( not the Coon's bullshit race).
Grab TheGauge had a theory that keltic nordids got their forehead and likely some other traits from borrebies.
