View Full Version : More than 100,000 Israeli Christians eligible for Aramean identity, can attend Hebrew schools

Again, Christians seem to be on the path of integration within Jewish society.

Do a lot of them speak Aramean? If they attend Hebrew schools, that'd really close the gap between Jews and Christians in Israel.

I think it's a good step, The Christian community and even a lot of the Druze communities are assets to Israeli society.

They go where ever they want to go (except Yeshiva).

Do Muslims go wherever they want to go, too? I'm asking this out of curiosity.

As for Christians, of course they are now able to attend whichever school suits them best, but it wasn't like that before or that's what I thought.

No, almost every Israeli I know had Arabs at his school - Muslim or Christian.
