I so want to purchase a new vehicle from them. I don't really care for quality nor luxury features. I just want to drive a Serbian car and Yugos are hard to find nowadays. :grumpy:

When will Zastava start selling cars? Probably when they re-start production. Their factory stopped producing cars back in 2008, but Fiat has a huge share in the company, so business may start in the near future. Probably another FIAT based car.

Speaking of Balkan cars, I want to get a Dacia.

FIAT has a store in my town. It's amazing considering how long they have exited the American market. It would be so cool if FIAT reup Zastava and have them build their own Zastava-branded cars and sell them in America. Kind of like how Lincoln is part of Ford but they are separate brands. It could actually be lucrative for Serbia as it'd get all the profit with minimal investment.

The Citroen SM (1971-75) is one of my favourite classics. It was made when Citroen owned Maserati. I'm gonna get me one, but you can't get a decent one under £29,000 :(

Not really. Car dumps in all countries of former Yugoslavia are full of them.

Hm, is that so? Then why do I see so many Yugos still in use even in Croatia? :thumb001:

It can still be found among people who are too poor to afford anything better, ie. to buy some new car. But it's getting exceedingly rare. Until recently one could still occasionally see Stojadins and Fićos, but they are now practically gone.

I can only find two classic Zastavas for sale; this one (http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C239929) and this one (http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C196309). One in Lithuania and the other in Macedonia. Wouldn't even think about buying the first one :D

I would love to restore that white Yugo. It would look really nice after restoration.

Don't even think about paying anywhere near the asking price for it :shakefist

£500.00 tops.

Yeah, the asking price is pretty high but I'm sure the seller will lower it as soon he realise he isn't getting any potential buyers with that pricetag. :P
