I decided to check out my Deep Dive matches and see what categories I have matches in under DNA spotlight. I've posted my outlier samples and 5 of my deep dive matches, along with my maternal grandmother's results below. I'd love to see some of your deep dive results as well.

Are you paying for that scam? I mean, you can see the Oracles without paying, that's the only good thing that site has. Ancient matches are mostly fake, you cannot share IBD with ancient people.

MTA seems to be the best test if you are searching your ancient roots. If you are for instance Greek, or whatever you are, and want to know that you are Greek and your parents didn't lie to you, your best choice is Gedmatch. Still the Gedmatch Oracles can totally fail.

Outliers are those who don't match well with any known population, so you could be a good match among other testers despite of the match level. Someone of us could be a bit closer Chimp than you. Chimp is an ultimate outlier. MTA has listed also outliers keeping in a mind that also outliers can be found in modern populations.

No these are Ibero-Roman & Iranian matches that have vast number of people in Europe & Asia. Some Indians have these admixture from long time back but diluted due to newer waves of admixure

Of course the outlier relation can be real, but the sequence number tells how meaningdul the match is and gives more information. I only hoped to see your top matches. My outlier samples are (the top because I ought to pay more to see more)

They are far behind top 100 matches. I have tested in my own analyses OLS10 and it is an outlier and maybe distantly related to ancient Estonians. My ancient Estonians are closer and give much more information.

For some reason those Estonian matches show up in my GED but not on MYTA. I have like few percent Narva like genome but it hasn't shown in myta. However the GED shows many Latvian, Finn, Kola and Estonian matches.

Oracle is just fun. Shit happens if you have a small fraction Tibetan or those Afghans who have tiny proportion of East Asian. False segments can be seen even in Gedmatch relatives. Commercial players, like FtDna make tweaks and remove certain chromosomal areas to avoid false matches, but Gedmatch doesn't do it. Sometimes they remove also real matches :)

There is the older Keltominar related cultures among the people of Iranian related groups in 5-3rd millenium. So if any ethnic group has some connection, you will see some Finn/Kola/Baltic matches. Apart from it there are also some North Asian groups that got mixed into people moving in during Buddhist period. These groups are somehow related to the Kola groups.
Due to these two admixures, you will be surprised how big Kola segments I get on 1-on-1 compares

These old segments don't follow known recombination rules. We know that Gedmatch has a very simple formula for detecting matches. We don't know the MTA process, but definitely it is more complex.

It seems to be right, but only for modern populations. Eurogenes has never had all those ancient samples.

It is not a problem to check all recently added ancient samples in K15. You can do it automatically in few hours if you know how. Of course first you must extract them from datasets. But you do it once.

Why should I check ancient samples using recent people? The history goes Vice versa. All recent populations are mixed and drifted. We can determine ancient samples only by older ancient samples. I want to check where my ancestors are from.
