why would I not be proud. Im happy to be connected to the tribe of Israel and to the people of Judah. I love the old testament stories and the story of David. Im also happy to be connect to Jesus not only in spirit and faith but also in blood through his people. its special regardless what kind of dumb stereotypes people have of Jewish people.

ashkenazi Jews like my brother in law are Jews from central and eastern europe. Sephardi Jews are Jews of spain and north africa, there are also various Jewish groups from the middle east. yes their results arent too different, the same basic populations show up closest to them.

I put his raw data into a y-predictor as well and his y-dna is predicted as G2a3b1a. I cant seem to find much about this particular sub-clad among ashkenazi, anyone know more about this?

I put his raw data into a y-predictor as well and his y-dna is predicted as G2a3b1a. I cant seem to find much about this particular sub-clad among ashkenazi, anyone know more about this?

Is that G-L140? What is it called in the "dash" format? If that is G-L140, then he's probably G-FGC228. It's a Judean lineage.

you and my brother-in-law clearly cluster together. It does seem my brother-in-law is eastern shifted with some slavic ancestry.
