I think it's normal then. The Eurogenes K13 Moroccan reference has 8.89 SSA, whereas the Syrian reference has 1.77 SSA. You get somewhere in-between.

By the way, you should go with the results/percentages that your actual saliva DNA test gave you. If you base your ancestry on admixture programs like GEDmatch you can be easily led to believe you're something you're not.

They do not work as a model to give your ancestry, they approach your DNA to the samples each of these calculators have and give you an average based on it. It's for fun only.

Unfortunately not, but I would be interested in them too since Syrians differ a lot in their genomics. I have ancestors from the northern part so I got more Anatolian and Kurdish/Persian admixture meanwhile someone from Deirezzor could almost be a pure bedouin

Try model yourself with Morrocan and then Lebanese Muslim, Ezidi and Assyrian. The Syrian average is a mix of basically all ethnicities in modern Syria so it won’t tell you much

I don't know I think it's the other way around. My Heritage seems more accurate for me. Gedmatch for instance always put closer to north italian populations and I have no nothern italians ancestors whatsoever.
