My father is brunette and he's full Gaulish (native to Northern France).

We have many variant of "gaulish" face here. Come to redheard, to brunette, etc.

Gauls are often depicted as having light hair as they used Lye soap to bleach their hair to lighter colours. This is documented, but I don't remember the source at the moment.

Maybe but French as being mostly Gauls I don't see evidence of them being all "light haired", surely light hair isn't a rarity in France, and not in Northern France of course (percentages come close to proper NW nations), what I say is that there are very "celtic" phenotypes with dark hair.

That's being said I would be curious to see ancient gaullish samples and see their alleles.

So you could look like ancient Gauls but they are very diverse, some have blonde hair, some brown and some red hair, the most common where probably blonde, but I’m not and never at 100% and I don’t use old phenotypes race to compare modern people, we are in century 21.

The problem is that it is impossible to either confirm or refute this statement, since the Gauls and Scythians are both semi-legendary peoples.

This guy is meant to represent Galatians of Anatolia and imo he looks quasi-Anatolian. I don't think Gauls would have such noses, the rest of his face maybe looks like Sebastien Chabal but I don't think he would be all that representative.
