I don't think the average American has many strong opinions about Europe, tbh. Most Americans I know can't place more than 5 European nations on the map and don't think much of European geopolitics as a whole, unless you count Russia. Obviously there are large amounts of people who are well educated, know the majority of European countries, their politics and their history. These people are usually positive towards Europe and feel connected to their European/White roots and identity/culture, but may look down on European policies such as the EU, refugee stuff etc. Then you have the vocal minority of cementheads who are always talking about how weak europe is, how America had to bail them out, save them from hitler, save them from russia, Swedistan etc. These people however I think are a mix of uneducated+reactionaries from European hate towards America online, at least thats my opinion.

Most Americans know they have ancestors in Europe and that they like to visit (especially Italy) and that's pretty much it.

Depends on your feelings/opinions toward them. Been to US 3 times, Americans always treated me right/being nice to me. Thus, I'm okay with them.

We both know the way you feel isn't reflected by the real world. It's kinda cringe when you try to speak for everyone in Europe.

EU: (Works, produces)
USA: (Buys, gives dollars in return)
EU: (Gets dollars, flies to nevada, jumps into casino, gives dollars back to americans)
EU: Wait, is there something wrong?
USA: (Remains silent)
EU: What did i take, what did i give?
USA: No one forced you

Let me repeat my phrase: there is no relationship (https://www.ecfr.eu/page/-/popular_demand_for_strong_european_foreign_policy_ what_people_want.pdf) between the United States and Europe. None.
