Did anyone seem satisfied with the detail or results given? How does it differ from other services? I'd like to hear personal experience. Thanks.

We were talking about AncestryDna just now in "genética española" thread, you can get the test by 59 $.

Do you know if it's good for finding specific ancestral traits like Dutch Frisian? I am able to trace my family back for quite a while so I dont know if the test will give me any surprises.

I don´t know. The only ethnic estimation I got with some regional precission is LivingDna, exporting my MH raw data , not by a saliva test. Free service is quite inaccurate, only continental estimation, but if I remember well, I paid 10 Euro for a better estimation.Maybe one German member could help you better than me.

Maybe with your g25 coordinates you could obtain more precission about your German regional origins in any calculator. Do you have g25 coordinates?
