I'm sure some will object to the USA's placement.

Why is Portugal in "Latin America"?

Not sure. It's a Swedish one factoring ten values.

Same with us. I blame Moody's and Fitch.

Ridiculous map. :D

Australia should be closer to Catholic Europe than Britain at any rate, since we have a Catholic majority and Britain doesn't. :p

LOL @ Japan being "less traditional" than the US, UK and Nordic hippie states. It pretty much evaluates this carp.

That map is a pretty shabby take on what culture is.

Looks like the only cultural aspect that separates the Polish culture from the Indian one is the ''thin red line'' of ex-communism

Fucking stupid "cultural map".

Why are Greece and Israel listed as "Protestant"? Where is the Muslim world, a cultural bloc if there ever was one?

But Catholic Europe doesn't have English as its first language. He obviously sees language as a larger value factor than religion.

And England. It looks like he's lumped us together.

Catholicism is the largest Christian sect in the UK, if calculated according to how many people actually attend church regularly, rather than what they write on forms.

Australia is obviously far closer to Britain in culture than it is to Europe, anyway.
