MY SHOCKING FTDNA RESULTS

0% iberian but 21% west and central europe ??? I've never seen such result for a moroccan in my life

his results aren't that shocking but he score more euro than the average and at least he score some iberian which is logical. And yes I've tried gedmatch before but None of the calculators are accurate for north africans only G25 is

He probably has some ancestry from Andalus (he's also J1).

I'm on several NA groups and all people agreed on ftdna and 23andme being the best companies for autosomal (btw they will soon update their database). On myheritage I scored 11% iberian and 11% sardinian and on dnaland I score 10% iberian, 1.4% finnish and 26% mediterranean islander (sardinia?) ..they all give me weird results meanwhile other moroccans seem to have "stable" and logical results in average 70% NA with some arab, ssa and iberian/italian. For ftdna I uploaded my raw data from MH Idk if it can influence the results

In general results aren't that different between maghrebis and physically there are no big differences between coastal north africans. haha good to see some admiration for my country thanks

Get your g25 and you will have more data to get a better overview.

You should get your G25 coordinates and if you're more serious also do Dantelabs (its 300euro right now), it will give you autosomal RAW dna (full genome sequence) and you'll be able to upload on Yfull and discover your haplogroup + subclade.

I've sent my Dantelabs kit like a week ago (I had it all the time at my house but I was too lazy to send it lol), and they're already quality checking it and someone else I know he sent it like 2 weeks ago and they're already sequencing his DNA rn and they should be finished this week, so they're working faster than they promise :). But if you want to do something cheaper you could go for FTDNA, I wouldn't advise to do YSEQ because maybe you're not even J1 xD so we don't know for sure yet in which haplogroup division you belong. Either do FTDNA str markers or do a 23andMe test to make sure about your main haplogroup branch.
