I dunno, I tend to think it is called global for a reason. Generally, on GEDmatch global calculators are only good for the big picture and you are supposed to use more pin-pointed GEDmatch calculators for more specific results. I tend to think that this global is not as accurate as pin-pointed Celtic vs Germanic PCA for me. As you can see I just fall within the British and Dutch ranges but I don't look physically Dutch so it is a no brainer to go with the British :

That's odd you get such high distances. What I posted was the Average Moderns Scaled. When people high distances it is usually because they have used unscaled with scaled.

I would like the see people's full results and then they can also add the ADD DISTANCE COLUMN. I think it is interesting seeing how these things work and what people get using the ADC. Davidski said that the ADC is good for separating similar populations. If anyone has any tips that would be great as well.

That´s the point, for example, Celtibero used to custom spreadsheets, for thins kind of people is interesting to can compare same results, and it´s better if they have variated results, not only one, so thay can change things and calibrate it better.

And there is people that like to see others results to see study them, but there is people that only shows the idea of themselves they want to make think the others.

Well you can't do much about that. I think you should have a healthy attitude to these sort of things. Ancestry is something you have no choice in so you shouldn't feel ashamed or have a superior attitude because of your ancestry.

I just think the the averaged modern population spreadsheet makes more mathematical logical sense but it is not perfect because the sample size may not be equal in all the different populations and as far as I know and it is missing whole Demographics like Danish. I till also prefer my Celtic vs Germanic PCA plot over everything.

Yes there needs to be bigger numbers for some populations as small samples can skew results. Yes it would be great to have Danish. I hope some samples become available. No problems with you being adverse to having Irish ancestry but if you do have that ancestry (or any other) it is strange you don't accept it. You only have partial Irish ancestry anyway but whatever issues you have with Irish you shouldn't be derogatory about other people's nationality. You're not better than anyone else no matter what your ethnicity. Anyway I'll leave it at that. You seem to have laid off a bit with that lately. :thumb001:
