Agree. Messi looks latino first, then Spanish. Then maybe Italian or French i don't know. Some said he looks Balkanish and i have heard some Italians spotting Greek in him. Most of Turks don't look pure Med to me. Only individuals from Thrace and Northwest. But I agree Iranid is a distinctive look and not typical in Turkey (other than Kurds)
