All of my family gets modelled best as half Hungarian Conqueror and half Scythian.
They are using a mix of Scythians from Moldova, Hungary and Ukraine on MTA, which should cover the Slavic input in Romanians, so that must make for an accurate Romanian proxy.
It makes historic sense to get modelled as half Conqueror, considering that Romanians were living around the Carpathian basin when the Magyars migrated. It is recorded in the first Hungarian chronicle, Gesta Hungarorum.
It also shows that a lot of Hungarians from Hungary are basically assimilated West Slavs mixed with Germans, whereas Szeklers, Csangos and some Transylvanian Hungarians are descendants of the Magyar elite who brought the language.
