Prokletije keep the snow the best in Balkan because high amount of snow due to a lot of percipitation (2000-3000 mm annualy) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prokletije#Climate

Prokletije are more snowy than Durmitor and keep snow longer, but Durmitor is colder in winter.

Interesting is albanisation of Prokletije that Albanians do.
They claim Prokletije as "Albanian Alps", regarlless that mountains always had Serbian name Prokletije (cursed mountains) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prokletije
Maja Jezercė is albanised version of original Serbian name Jezerski Vrh (lake peak) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maja_Jezercė
Zla Kolata is albanised version of original Serbian name Kolac (spike) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zla_Kolata
