IMO, he can only pass in Southeast Asia. Probably Central Asia too, but I'm not certain. He barely has European influence. He wouldn't pass as a Latino mestizo either.

He would pass as a regular person in the Philippines. He looks like a security guard. People would probably think he's attractive for a security guard, but he would still be a regular guy. We don't consider his look as Spanish mestizo. The very minimum to be considered Spanish mestizo in the Philippines would look like this guy

And even he isn't referred to as mestizo by a lot of Filipinos, but I would consider him as minimally mestizo. If Henry Golding's skin were as light as this guy's, he might be considered mestizo by Filipinos. But you usually have to look very European.

His mother is now deceased, but I've seen pictures and she looks extremely native Filipina.

I've seen Filipinos of Spanish-descent who pass as European, but they're mostly just European and have very little native Filipino.
