North_African: I used the Guanches from the Spanish Canaries.

Balto-Slavic: I used some Bronze age Baltic sample (they are good to rapresent baltic people from middle ages too, since was a isoleted area and the genetic donìt change much), and Szolad_Avar_AV2 ("pure" slavic)

Germanic: SWE_BA+DNK_BA .

Greco-Roman: It's a broad category; i used the thracians,the imperial romans and some Romans from Levant. So this category include the classic civilization and east mediterranean peoples, without celtic,germanic and others western components.

Celtic: For the celts i used 3 types of celts (since they was a cultural group but sometimes genetically different), Hallstatt ,Scotland late bronze age and the new Rhetic (?) sample, that represent the south-western celts (Celtiberians,Alpine celts and southern Gaul celts)

Uralo-Altaic: Some turkic and Uralic samples from Iron-Medieval age.

Armenia_Assyria: I used the Kaspias "EASTERN-ANATOLIAN_MESOPOTAMIAN" coordinates

Iranic: Created by Kaspias by extracting Turkic from Farsi.

South_Asia: Pakistan iron age sample.

Thanks Andre. I changed Scotland_LBA from Celtic because I don't believe that is a "Celtic" population. I also used Hallstatt and just named the other Celtic as southern because I don't believe all these populations should be under the Celtic umbrella. I guess I just have strong views on this topic but it is obvious that they are different genetic populations.

Thanks for changing your calculator I wasn't expecting you to change it to mine so I edited out my post. Yeah,it was weird I was not getting any Germanic and I realized that was because there were no Scandinavian samples. I'm not expert but I chose BA Scandinavians because Scotland sample was LBA but it definitely added Germanic to my results so I believe it is an improvement.

North_African: I used the Guanches from the Spanish Canaries.

Balto-Slavic: I used some Bronze age Baltic sample (they are good to rapresent baltic people from middle ages too, since was a isoleted area and the genetic donìt change much), and Szolad_Avar_AV2 ("pure" slavic)

Germanic: SWE_BA+DNK_BA .

Greco-Roman: It's a broad category; i used the thracians,the imperial romans and some Romans from Levant. So this category include the classic civilization and east mediterranean peoples, without celtic,germanic and others western components.

Celtic: For the celts i used 3 types of celts (since they was a cultural group but sometimes genetically different), Hallstatt ,Scotland late bronze age and the new Rhetic (?) sample, that represent the south-western celts (Celtiberians,Alpine celts and southern Gaul celts)

Uralo-Altaic: Some turkic and Uralic samples from Iron-Medieval age.

Armenia_Assyria: I used the Kaspias "EASTERN-ANATOLIAN_MESOPOTAMIAN" coordinates

Iranic: Created by Kaspias by extracting Turkic from Farsi.

South_Asia: Pakistan iron age sample.

I have a strange middle eastern shift, but the distance for me it's so good.

I am wondering why this calculator has no Anatolian or Levantine cluster? If a Levantine scores like 40% and more "Greco-Roman" why would you call it "Greco-Roman" to begin with? This calculator works for Europeans but definitely not Middle Easterners.

Edit: Now I see "Greco-Roman" literally means within the borders of Roman Empire. Makes sense that Levantines score such high amount of it. But still Greco-Roman will confuse allot of people. A better name would have been "Imperial Roman" for that component.

Balto-Slavic: I used some Bronze age Baltic sample (they are good to rapresent baltic people from middle ages too, since was a isoleted area and the genetic donìt change much), and Szolad_Avar_AV2 ("pure" slavic)

Germanic: SWE_BA+DNK_BA .

Greco-Roman: It's a broad category; i used the thracians,the imperial romans and some Romans from Levant. So this category include the classic civilization and east mediterranean peoples, without celtic,germanic and others western components.

Celtic: For the celts i used 3 types of celts (since they was a cultural group but sometimes genetically different), Hallstatt ,Scotland late bronze age and the new Rhetic (?) sample, that represent the south-western celts (Celtiberians,Alpine celts and southern Gaul celts)

Uralo-Altaic: Some turkic and Uralic samples from Iron-Medieval age.

Armenia_Assyria: I used the Kaspias "EASTERN-ANATOLIAN_MESOPOTAMIAN" coordinates

Iranic: Created by Kaspias by extracting Turkic from Farsi.

South_Asia: Pakistan iron age sample.
