So i've noticed that in a quite a few calculators on gedmatch I get 1+ Amerindian, on some up to 1.8, what does this exactly entail?
Should values below 1-2 be taken seriously?
It's not real unless you are a descendant of North or South American settlers.

It is possible that it is Turkic instead. They are sort of Similar. Or you have some mixed colonizer ancestor

I get it too. It is most likely shared ancestry between East Asians and Amerindians. In our case it is most likely East Asian.
Calculators can be very misleading sometimes.
R1a/R1b - Q connection
Some of it could be contributed to Indo-Europeans

"Colonizer" in Croatia? The OP isn't American.

Lol yeah its not likely but still possible. For example if the OP has a French/British/Spanish grandparent they may have carried it. But most likely I think it is just noise or some sort of ancient component
I score 2% on K13 but I'm half Northeastern Russian, that comes from the taiga.

And that was probably done by British and Dutch settlements too since they were the ones who settled in the Jamestown http://www.americaslibrary.gov/jb/colonial/jb_colonial_subj.html
Nothing to do with Croats.

Just immigrating out as a migration. Autsomally, it only counts for 4% pecent or above because they can't read the snp results on your chromosones so it doesn't even count anyway. Most Europeans score no more than 1-2 percent Native American when they have it.

If it's a small amount on GEDmatch pay it no mind, especially if you're from a country with no intercontinental colonial past. It'll be representing something else.

I saw many times in european results amerindian, which scored up to 1,5%. It isnt automatically an indicate for Turkic/eastasian origin, i think early steppe people had it because of that some Europeans score it.

It's probably more common in east european and east med people. It could be central asian being confused as native american.
