The distances and samples are really "odd" so not sure what to make of this calc. As a Greek why am I so close to the Collegno Germanic sample? Wasn't that a Central/Northern Euro sample? Based on the Dodecad 12 ancient spreadsheet I'm very close to the Southern Euro Szolad sample 37 (which makes sense) but the distances on this calc are questionable. Out of curiosity could someone explain the Levantine Roman sample.

I don't trust most of these custom calculators for G25. I would only trust ones made by Davidski himself, basically. Also, unscaled can be a lot less accurate than scaled for some people. Anyway, this calculator is making me look downright English and while I do have some Anglo-Saxon blood I am certainly not English.

I do not know really. At school we were taught that the Celts came to Spain but not from the British Isles. I imagine they will be from Spain in this case a match will have occurred. As it is a subject that is so monopolized, it will take a while.

At least this is one of the possibilities. A study with Iron Age Celtic Gaulish DNA is about to be published soon. Some of Gaulish DNA samples look Irish-like.

Bretons are similar to the British and Irish, not to the rest of France.

I doubt Celts were like modern Irish. I wouldn't read too much into these as far as ancestry is concerned. Everyone gets some samples from elsewhere and it depends on the samples used.

I'm closest to Anglo-Saxon on these despite myself being of wholly Irish ancestry. The Nordic Celt on this does match the Irish the closest.
