Alright, I finally come to the conclusion that one has to combine paper trail , oldschool anthropology, and haplogroups to these DNA calculators as they can be all over the place.

I think most people are not interested in the truth and hence that is why these calculators can be all over the place perhaps.

So, anyway let me know if I am cherry picking or if this is just common sense. Let's start with a modern tool everyone thinks is legit :

G25 is meant for PCA plots not the use most people use it for. Also, it is only as good as the pruned dataset -- too much pruning bad too little also bad. So, I'll start with the predefined definitions made by Davidski himself :

I cluster with the Scots mostly who are in the Germanic cluster, for some reason, and with some stray plastic paddies who are not 100% Celtic but marked as celtic.

Gaussian mathematics mode from Lukasz's analysis of my Eurogenes K36 :

Gaussian method.
Noise dispersion set to 0,130062
Using 1 population approximation:

1 Scotland @ 4.1359
2 SW_England
3 Orkney
4 Ireland
5 NL_Friesland
6 Iceland
7 SE_England
8 NL_Groningen
9 Northern_Ireland
10 NW_England
250 iterations.

Dodecad V3 which has me close to Argyll since Argyll and the Hebrides are somewhat more Gaidhlig/Goidelic than the rest of Scotland :

2 N._European_Xing @ 2.599243
3 Orkney_1000 Genomes @ 3.119397

Least-squares method.

Using 1 population approximation:
1 Scottish @ 4.691241
2 Orcadian @ 4.975133
3 Irish @ 5.040867
4 English @ 5.050866

P.S. Y-DNA can be either Scottish or Irish and my Mtdna is found in some British people like Queen Victoria.

P.S. I do have a significant amount of Celtic Gaidhlig blood but there is not one single genetic cluster of Scots and a dog on the street can tell you that the Irish and Scots are related but not the same.
