What is a Berid? I started to believe it is a non-existing phenotype and is just to define CM traits in iberians.

Berid is a local Iberian Med-Cm hybrid, yes.
The question of existence of phenotypes itself is a tricky one- for example you could say the same thing for Brunns or those various Nordid or Med variants.

Brunn type is very identificable IMO, but Berid doesn't. I think Berid is just Gracile-Med+CM, but still i prefer to use separate phenotypes to a better indentification.

its actually the other way round: Paleo Sardinian or Coarse Med is the ancient Med-Cm hybrid, from which Gracile Med evolved. Berid is just the local variant special to Iberia showing more Cm traits. Its logical since Gracile Med is the newer form, while any Cm shows more arhaic features.

I've been called Paleo-Atlantid + Alpine many times, to me Paleo-Atlantid = Atlanto-Med/Atlantid + CM, no more no less. And i agree with you.
