Do they have some Caucasoid mixture? Or perhaps something basal to east and west eurasian? What is causing it?

I think its the combo of east eurasian/west eurasian and slight south asian mixed in pulling them in that direction. so yes in a way basal to both east and west eurasians. Aborigine distances to most populations are roughly the same in the 50-60 range pulling closer to most populations than west africans.

aborigines fascinate me

they retain archaic features lost from most other extant humans
