I2 dominance in Atlantic Farmers - a more primitive version of later IE conquests?

I find it hard to believe that the WHG haplogroup could be so dominant in Atlantic / Megalithic Farmers without military conquest of some sort. Perhaps some of the most warlike and organised WHG might have conquered a few Farmer settlements somewhere in Iberia/France, and like the way a few small clans of R1b Bell Beakers came to dominate Western Europe within a few hundred years, a few small clans of more militant, expansionist I2 Farmers speaking a WHG language came to dominate the Atlantic coasts of Europe?
