I lived more than 10 years in France and I visited the country every year and I disagree with you. All Western European types are present in France, in varying proportions depending of locations, but Alpinid influences are visible everywhere. Except for the Mediterranean rim (but not that much) and Corsica, France is as a whole relatively homogeneous. Which is all the more surprising since, unlike Spain, Germany or Italy, France has never undergone significant internal migrations.
