After converting my Myheritage raw DNA data to 23andme V3 format, this is what I got on this website:

H2, H6 and H8
The H2, H6 and H8 haplogroups are somewhat common in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.[21] They may be the most common H subclades among Central Asians and have also been found in West Asia.[22] H2a5 has been found in the Basque Country, Spain,[34] and in Norway, Ireland and Slovakia.[3] H6a1a1a is common among Ashkenazi Jews.[35]

What is your opinion? Until I don't have a better choice, I'll stick to this.

MH has MUCH more SNPs than v3 23andme

You basically make the value of over 100k SNPs to 0 completely twisting the results.

And you can't have y dna M unless you are austronesian or south east asian.

This thread is about mtDNA haplogroup H, which is very common in Europe. I agree with you, we can't be sure what my Y-DNA haplogroup exactly is. My Y-DNA results on MorleyDNA are very random, so I'm going to leave that blank until I find out the truth.

How did you convert into V3 data?

Btw. have you tried this for ydna?:

His SNP count with the converted data is over 150,000, while his MH data was getting around 80,000 SNPs, correct me if I'm wrong Chris.

His new converted data puts him a little closer to Hungary than before.

Why he got that unusual M haplo with the new data, I have no idea.

I did it with the help of Kaspias. I'll send you the details in a private message. Not yet, but I'lll try it out, looks promising!

And how does he suddenly get 70k more SNPs and the value of them?

That's right! And on a couple of free ancestry calculators I score between 55-70% Balkan, more East and Central European which is much more realistic. I don't know any Hungarian who did a test like this and got 95% Balkan, this is why I assume that something went wrong with the Myheritage ancestry report. I do get between 1-2% Southeast-Asian in almost every GEDmatch calculator, maybe this is why it's possible? I don't know.

It will be interesting to see what your coverted data upload (to MH) will yield, I think it will be similar. But, more importantly, a complete overhaul of their algorithm is due this year.

Wasted money, should have done 23andme

get on my level
632573 SNPs used for this comparison.

Woah, that's the most SNPs I've ever seen. How'd ya do it? :hail:

I know.. Probably you don't know about it, but at first I tried to get a 23andme kit, after multiple attempts and waiting for 2 MONTHS, they were unable to give me my package... I requested a refund, and what a surprise, I got my Myheritage kit after 1 week. And I live in Budapest. So basically it's not my fault.

Did you track the package?

No, that's not correct. You can't find your y-dna or mt-dna with converted file. It works only for gedmatch. For such tools you have to use your actual raw data, and MH doesn't test your mt-snps. So it is impossible.

Yes, and whenever I contacted the courier or 23andme customer service, they said that it's probably ,,lost in transit'' (after multiple attempts, have you ever heard of such a bullsh*t like this one?). I said alright, give me a refund then.

Yup, and if you still upload that converted file, you will always get the same haplogroup. I got it as well when I uploaded a converted file.
