A conversation elsewhere has piqued an interest in how I define my political and racial beliefs together, and thought it might be an interesting subject to discuss.

Is socialism compatible with ethno-Nationalism?

Put them together and you have National Socialism. Why not?

don't really know, depends on the Socialism, National Socialism yes, but the Socialism supported by many U.S. politicians no.

Yes. Socialism combined with closed borders and an ethnically conscious benevolent dictator would serve European preservation quite well. However, the chances of all of those coming together at once are slim to none, so I'll stick with Capitalism. ;)

Socialism isn't neccessarily bad, it's how it's used.. I think those two ideologies can go hand-in-hand very well.

I'll stick with Capitalism, like the good Psych said.

I'm waiting for the heavy typing Americans to step in with SOCIALISM?!?! But...

SOCIALISM = COMMUNISM :rolleyes:

There is nothing wrong with being both a Socialist and Ethno-Nationalist, nothing wrong at all.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! You had me at "hello".........;)

On what do you base these slim-to-none chances?

P.s Economic systems are not systems of Social Order.

Those work together, but I dislike that combination :P to be honest I dislike socialism alone and together with anything and everything.

I am here to strike a note for National Conservatism, The only true right wing :P (and none of that silly neo-con that you Americans have..)

I call them "neo con- artists".They serve as a placating distraction for many of the American people. I think we would do well under a National Socialist government, though not perhaps with a dictator or Leader at its head.

I say no. In any socialist/marxist system, the state will ultimately be supreme. Even if this means redefining what the ethnos is & how one might become a member, if it is convient to the statists. It would evolved from a nationalism based on blood to one based on civic-nationalism. The more power concentrated in the hands of the persons who control the state, the more ruthless those statists will become in preserving their power, compromising their principals before they surrender any part of their authority.

I base it on historical data and our current situation. Benevolent dictators are quite rare within dictatorial traditions themselves, and since none of the nations that this forum is concerned with are currently a part of this type of tradition, not only would the changes necessitate a complete and wholesale change in our system of government, but also the chances that we'd end up with a dictator that wasn't a total douche wouldn't be so great.

I know, I felt the need to interject a dictator into my post simply because I don't think that socialist economics and representative democracy combined together have the ability to serve ethnic preservation.
