In the video, the Chief of Police for Richmond, VA states that
* a man was shot by a rioter
* at least two occupied buildings were set on fire by rioters
* one of these buildings was a home, and
> there was a child inside;
> rioters attempted to prevent Fire Department vehicles from getting to the fire;
> fortunately, firefighters were able rescue the child and the other people within the home

There might be enough of these occurrences to put them in their own thread.

A man identifying himself as "Ace Burns" delivered an ominous threat to New Yorkers Saturday during a live interview on Fox News, warning that protesters could set fire to Manhattan's storied Diamond District if New York leaders don't meet their demands.

"Today, I'm giving a demonstration from Barclay's Center at 6 p.m. to City Hall, and that's the first stop -- and we're hoping [Mayor] De Blasio and [Gov.] Cuomo come out and talk to us and give the youth some direction," he told Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich.

"But if they don't, then [the] next stop is the Diamond District," he said, referring to a block on Manhattan's 47th Street known for jewelry shops. "And gasoline, thanks to Trump, is awfully cheap. So we're giving them a chance right now to do the right thing."

Tennis balls:

The NYPD are being pelted with concrete-filled tennis balls during George Floyd protests, the NYPD warned its members Sunday.
...
'One of ... two officers [attacked with the tennis balls] was hospitalized with a contusion (bruise) to left shoulder,” it said. “Please be cognizant of all objects in persons’ hands or lying on the ground during these protests.'

'Stay safe, stay protected, and covered.'

Molotov Cocktails:

In one case, a Princeton-educated attorney was among two lawyers charged with hurling the incendiary device at an empty NYPD squad car outside the 88th Precinct stationhouse in Fort Greene. In another, an upstate woman was charged with throwing a Molotov cocktail at four police officers inside a car on Eastern Parkway, but it did not ignite.

"Coffee cups filled with cement were found on a window ledge of the New York Supreme Courthouse Downtown." Both the photo and its caption are from the New York Post.

An internal NYPD alert warned officers of containers of hardened concrete resembling “chocolate chip ice cream” found near the scene of a recent George Floyd protest in Lower Manhattan.

Three containers of the alleged hard serve — poured into what appear to be to-go coffee and soup cups and flecked with darker-colored spots — were found sitting on a window ledge near the Worth Street entrance to Manhattan Supreme Court on June 3, according to the memo obtained by The Post.
