Hi sisters & brothers,
The forum was so kind and gave some opinions on my mother and grandmother in the past.
( We have some unknown nationalities in our family tree. )
Please advise - classify on this photo :

I'm gonna say Alpine/Pontid/CM for this guy..

Need more pictures to refine my rate, a side-profile is always helpful.

Based on the 3 pictures so far I think I like Pontid/Alpine/CM. Some blend of those, in equal parts I think.

Pontid + Alföld or Pontid + Ladogan

I have slightly more robust jawline/cheeks and a straight forehead. Except these we share almost all features. Eye type and nose are literally same.

What is your known ancestry?

What is your known ancestry?

The only known for sure is some Hungarian , and that makes about 40 percent of the family personelle.
So more than half is basically uknown / very uncertain.
I have one thread before this one, where I feature photographs of my mother and my grandmother. ( posts nr. 6 and 7 here https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?318284-Please-help-identifying-possible-heritage )

And what are the possibilities for the rest? Speculations?

Your grandmother looks like my mother btw.

I am very suprised by the likeness to your dear mother.

As to your question , those would mainly be speculations.
Both maternal and paternal side suppose some person "X" , which is largely believed to be foreign soldiers on both sides, never known.
As to my personal instincts, I had a strong inclination to balkan and mediterranean culture and history, from early childhood.
Also looking quite different from most of my peers.

You're one of the people that the results of a dna test would be quite fascinating, both for ancestry and also relative matches.

Would you ever consider testing?

Thank you, Mr.G.
Yes, I am considering a test. All those informations can be confusing, when I literally know almost nothing about my ancestors.

But I am also considering one more thread to close the trilogy, as I was promised some vintage photos of my family by a family member.
So that may bring some additional insights from the fine community here.
