We all have those little up-to-no-good pests in our countries: teenagers and early twens who behave like absolutely arseholes: breaking into cars, battering people, stealing and looting, setting fire to places and generally being a nuisance.

I believe that rehabilitation can help but only if the lad learns his lesson big time:

To be administered in public on the local market square for minor offences with his family being forced to sit on the front row and watch the show, or when necessary being forced to join in the whip fest, by court order -- a nice spectacle for the more honest citizen to look at while going around his daily food shopping. Anyone in favour, anyone against it ?

Then I believe that in some cases the State would have to exert some parental control over these unruly kids. And.. correct them. ;)
