IMHO, the difference is quite striking if being compared with Poles from the far south (this thread ----> https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?324867-Classify-amp-place-these-young-Southern-Poles-(Ma%26%23322%3Bopolskie-Lesser-Poland)-corrected) or Upper (this thread ---> or Lower Silesia.

They are noticeably lighter according to my eye test + anthropological written sources (predominantly light hair with blonde being abundant), and mostly lacking Dinarisation that is typical in some parts. Many of them would blend in as some Scandinavians methinks, albeit they as a whole look like Slavs, which they clearly are. Different faces 'repeat' here than let's say in Łódź or Wrocław, or in Myślenice / Limanowa / Nowy Sącz / Kraków (Southern Poland). It together underpins my view that Poland is much less homogenous as a country that it is commonly believed (meaning that there are some noticeable regional differences despite all population swaps after the II World War).

Elbląg is located 684 kilometres north from Zakopane (one of the most populous Polish towns in Carpathians). Zakopane in Southern Poland is actually closer to Subotica (Serbia) or Osijek in Croatia, or to Romania than to some localities in Northern bits of my country.

Mostly HS students from Elbląg are in these photos.

The city is our mythical port that is not quite what it was desired to me long time ago. :D

Less Dinarid and more Baltid in comparison to group from Southern Poland you posted recently. Isn't Elbląg full of people with ancestors from Kresy?

Marginally lighter than some of your other sets, but still nothing like Scandinavians as some claim Poles are.

Baltid, West Baltid, Gorid, Alpine and North Pontid mainly with additional Nordid, CM and Norid/Dinarid elements.

"Stereotypical" Slavic.

a lot of women on that pics and some propably dyed their hair. they are obv. more Baltic shifted than the other sets- lack of Dinaric but still have a West Slavic look- but look maybe less close to Czech and Slovaks. men phenotypes are strongly North Pontid-Pontid, Alpine/Pre Slavic, the stereotypical Slavic look (Neo Danubian) pops up only sporadically.

Thank you. I think they're bit more 'Northern' shifted than average for Poland. I don't think though they're extremely similar to people like Latvians or Lithuanians though albeit there are obvious similarities.

I find them noticeably lighter than people from my locality, that is my primary observation and with slightly different faces / phenotypes occuring most often. I've never been to Elbląg though myself. It is neither a touristy place, nor some big economic hub to draw people into. It is becoming a ghost town.
