An interesting video recently surfaced. Apparently some kind of tv reportage before an exam in 1983.

I have the impression that Turks were fancier then. How the children speak Turkish, not even any politician can speak this kind of turkish.

What’s interesting about them?

1-Generally people behave/talk significatly different compared to today's creepy people, even these infants seem to be better than today's "educated" adults. (overall)

2-Too many light eyes with regular eastern/turanid types.

Can't find a turanid type with light eyes. Who are you referring to

About their way of talking, the “interesting” one is today’s people since they are able to keep their own dialect in big cities, even though they weren’t born in the village, that’s way more interesting and actually weird. About their phenotype, there is nothing interesting/weird; many Turanids have light eyes especially green, very common trait in my region and I have many relatives like that including my grandma.

I think it is not bad to speak with own dialect but their turkish is very nice. You wont find a turkish personality nowadays, who speak like the children.

I didn’t mean it’s bad, but I don’t appreciate when people were born in the centre of such cities like Izmir, Istanbul and Ankara but still talk like a villager. That’s just weird, or basically a result of being uneducated.

i wouldnt say that , if your parents and friends speak with a dialect, you will tend more speak like them. For example i speak perfectly German without any accent but my sisters always rant with my that i speak sometimes very like a villager. Or in the case of Ankara, my mother was born and grew up in an urban district mostly with central anatolian migrants, ok she speaks without dialect but this could also be the case.

Maybe my point is wrong, I don't know but that's the first impression that I get when I come across such people
