They are actually Portuguese, from Alentejo (southern mainland Portugal).

Well, its very simple. In these kind of boards the word swarthy, tends to have a negative meaning. So, i used it i the same way in order to say gently that someone is mentally disabled, without being very mean.

Well, in my opinion mental swarthiness suggests rather an empty man, than a mental disorder.


Oh and by the way, someone please inform oxford dictionairy authorities to add this phrase into it...ehm of course under the racist words section...
