because these people are ignorant , they think darker skin tone and sardinian-like features = moors

there are north african features which are very unique and you don't find outside north africans

find me an iberian (or anyone who isn't north african) who looks like this guy , if they had significant north african admixture you'd find his iberian lookalike quite easily :

in reality it's more that some north africans resemble iberians due to prehistoric admixture.



i have been wondering if iberians are dark despite being very highly related to other western europeans because their western hunter gatherer (the admixture is high among them) ancestors weren't subjected to natural selection favoring light skin, on the contrary the sunlight in iberia is very strong (no differently from italy except that the italian whg admixture comes from iron age central european invaders making it "less native" than among iberians , though they also had foreign/more recent whg input as well - I AM ONLY IMPLYING THAT NORTH ITALIANS ARE A BIT LIGHTER , not the other italians)

Its mostly because he probably thought modern iberians changed much after the morrocan invasion. Its unrealistc to imply the Peninsula was like Ireland previously 700 and then came a lot of berbers to their genepool, when in reality the Peninsula did not suffered a great impact of their genepool, modern iberians did not suffered a great southern shift, in my opinon previously the morrocan invasion they were already very closer to their nowdays genetic position on genetic map. East Eurasians are the farthest humans from SubSaharanAfrican populations, especially Pacific islanders.

Among Europeans, Uralic speakers like Saami or Udmurts the farthest from SS Africans.

Yes I forgot east Asians are slightly further from SSA; I think it's due to one group of basal-eurasians invading SSA and so SSA cluster slightly closer to European populations than they would have otherwise, and East Asians have very little basal Eurasian and instead have additional denisovan admixture which Europeans and Africans don't have

Saami and Udmurts also have like 10-20% of east Asian admixture
