I sent all of my kits as registered packages, except 23andme iirc. This way you can track them.

Damn, it happened to me with 23andme twice. Imagine them claiming to loose the package and instead of that they just hide it and use it for their own purposes.

I don't think so. They can test you officially and then use your sample for their own purpose, you won't know nothing about it.

Well replacement kit made it to the lab and is currently in extraction phase. I hope it goes well and I have results soon, which will be very valuable for my research :)

It took them so long to deliver the kit i had ordered for my mom near the end of last year that I was convinced it got lost in transit. That was before the covid outbreak. I imagine it must be a nightmare to finish the whole process now.
