I recently got my SNP results and Kaspias(We are from the same village as him, in fact, he is next to me now) offered me to register to the forum and post it myself. Despite these results already had been posted, i see no problem to repost again.

I have no known ancestry from outside of Komotini, but Kaspias speculates a lot of things about the village so i don't know exactly. What i can say is all known ancestry is from here.

Great! Welcome to the forum! You're fully Turkish from Northwest Greece, right?

Nice results! Under what main haplogroup this clade exactly falls? If it's Z93>Z2125 could you try Morley's calculator:

https://ytree.morleydna.com/extractFromAutosomal

(I want to see if your result have the same problem as mine on there)

Also interesting to me why results from Balkan Turks vary so much. It almost makes no sense.

Very nice results. I would guess you half Tatar according to your results; but in plain words, I am not that good at interpreting so I recommend you giving a chance to those “speculations” since Kaspias is fairly good at it.

It is under Z2125, yes. But the tool didn't work for me, maybe because I use FTDNA data?

Well, I'm not that experienced but going to ask about it.

Thank you. We indeed suspect on Tatar admixture but we have no explanation that no one knows anything about it. Morning we checked the Ottoman archives of our region and the village we live in was not present in the 1500s. Moreover, none of the neighbour villages were present. Kaspias showed me some results from the villages which are in plain, and they barely score 5-6% East Eurasian. If they are descendants of these Yörüks, then we have a booster. As no one aware of it, it supposed to from the period between 1600 and 1800. Still in the process of solving the puzzle...

Those speculations actually might open another door to us. Because Kaspias has documented ancestry from Varna and Kardzhali and this could be a reference. In addition, there is another person from our neighbor village has three-match from Silistra, and they share the surname, and they were able to correct the story of the migration from Silistra to Komotini. This kind of migration might be caused to the formation of the new villages. But what is sure that is whoever these boosters, they mixed with native(Yörük) Türks because I occasionally get Turkmen besides the others as Kaspias and his father does.

I think there may be a few explanations for this.

1- Migrations routes. Not only Oghuz Turkmens arrived to Balkans but also Tatars came to Balkans especially places like Dobruja.
2- Turkic migrations from Anatolia happened more than one time. That's why recent migrants probably have more East Eurasian than oldest ones.
3- Major Turkish settlements in Balkans were Bulgaria, Northern Greece and Macedonia. That means Turkic ancestors mixed with different ethnicities.

It actually doesn't vary that much if you know the region.

There are 3 major regions which is about native admixture:

https://i.ibb.co/SQYJQpr/blank-map-balkan-extended-by-wolfgrid-dbau4pl-fullview.jpg

Trakya: Thracian Bulgarians(most of time) and Thracian Greeks are source of the native admixture. Highest East Eurasian input in the Balkans thanks to dense Turkish population lives there. Also, this region got migration from almost each wave routed to Balkans.
Deliorman: Bulgarians, Vlachs are source of the native admixture, they are northernmost shifted Balkan Turks. There is still Tatar self-identified community there. Turkic input varies and probably pre-Ottoman movements also have a role there. They are in the middle at EE score.
Makedonya: Macedonians, Macedonian Greeks, Bulgarians, Vlachs are the natives. The major source of Turkic input is early migration of Yörüks. This community includes converts as well, so EE amount is usually reduced.
Arnavut(Skopje): They are exceptional because there is no another example of Albanian Turkic mix in any other city but Skopje Turks seem to have Albanian native base, and a small amount of Turkic just like Makedonya group.

What I'm trying to state is two different results from the Trakya group will be similar to each other even if one has 5% and the other has 15% EE. In addition, the distribution of main components such as North Atlantic and Baltic is kind of random. Imagine a Bulgarian have 22 NA and 22 Baltic, when he mixed with a Turk, children can inherit only Baltic or only North Atlantic.

There is an overlap between Trakya and Deliorman, and in general three groups clusters in the same meta position:

I'm posting a group of Thracian Turks here as an example:

(None has relativity connection, most are from different cities)

You should able to catch a common despite different EE scores. Each group homogenous among itself. Thrace and Macedonia have an important difference, for example.
