Despite it has been called Gedrosia I believe components itself is South Central Asia in general and covers Bactria too.

It is related with Iranic.

I don't think "Gedrosians" actually existed. It's mostly related to Neolithic Iranian farmers. Who were from Transcaucasus/Western Iran originally and moved to East and Southeast where they formed Elam, BMAC, IVC and Jiroft culture. They basically spanned from Western Iran to Soutch Central Asia and India and they are related to CHG too but are a bit more Natufian shifted and they had small amount of AASI.

Closest modern populations would be Balochs, Brahui or Makrani people. But they still are not very close because they have either too much South Asian (AASI) admixture or SSA.

I guess this explains the occasional exotic swarthy types in western Europe
