According to various trolls and acomplejados, the two should not be that easy to tell apart. Hmm...

No es por nada, pero las colombianas ganan por goleada a las británicas en cuanto a atractivo ;)

What I will say is that there is a noticeable sexual dimorphism, where the women tend to be somewhat lighter than the men.

The first three pics are brits and the last three pichures are Colombians.
It was actually easy to tell right away.

Yet people still persist with this bullshit myth that rich Latin Americans look extremely European. Outside Southern Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, which are majority White/Castizo nations anyway, the only middle and upper-classes who do look very White are those from Chile. Everywhere else it is more of a gradation.

Right on point
Even in upper classes you can clearly see mixed people. The only differences are based on which area of the country the upper class are located. Obviously the higher the class the more european but that doesn't mean its only whites in the upper class.
Interesting to note a study done on the different neighborhoods in Santiago Chile
The lower class were usually 40-50 euro%
The richest or at least one of the richest neighborhood came out 80% euro; but beside that one neighboorhood the next highest european admixed neighboorhood didn't even get over 70% euro.

Except that Chile's upper classes (more than even Argentina's I'd say) seem to have a lot of British and German descendants, who you seldom find among the masses there. Btw, the Colombian photos I used were from a private school in none other than Medellin - a city whose whiteness is preposterously overrated.

Opino lo mismo. De hecho las británicas no tienen la fama de ser las mas feas de Europa?

Just to clarify that I am not claiming for one moment that the two groups look similar - quite the opposite.

Can you picture a time in the future when Colombia's top 20% better represents its general population i.e. more mestizo, less white, a few amerindians, a few more blacks?

I see your point that Colombia is far better than Chile which is effectively Apartheid-lite but make no mistake, white skin still rules in your homeland.

I'm so whelmed by how different Brits and Colombians look

Well the Andean regions of Colombia, including most notably Bogota and Medellin, are mainly a Mestizo/White mix anyway. If you go to either coast, you'll see plenty of Blacks and Mulattoes even high up the social spectrum.
