I was looking at https://indo-european.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=e355625d5fbe46469cfdc85fce6eb04a and came across this Neanderthal from the Caucasus dated to the Upper Paleolithic. I would be grateful if someone could explain the significance of his haplogroup and what it means I know the basics about these things but if someone can give me more insight about this that would cool

"A00" is the "Adam" ancestor of all men living today. "A000", with 3 zeroes, means this neanderthal isn't descended from "Adam", obviously.

I have a question about the Y-DNA TMRCA. Perhaps the site wasn't set up to show an accurate correct TMRCA for a Neanderthal but maybe it is correct. I say this because other studies give a much longer ago split between our Y-Chromosomes like ∼590 kya is what one study concluded from us and El Sidrón

it's probably this. i would rather trust the studies than indo-european.eu on this.
