Norwegians adventurer and ethnographer. Born on October 6, 1914 in Larvik, Norway and died on April 18, 2002 in Colla Micheri, Italy.

He's most well known for the Kon-Tiki expedition in the Pacific towards Polynesia in 1947, which was made to prove that contact between unknown civilisations could be made possible thousands of years ago.
