Right guy is average and the left one is light but not that much.

First looks very mediterranid, despite pigmentation. First time i saw him i was unsure if he was wearing makeup for a role or if that was his real pigmentation.

Second looks pretty average.

I don't really know how portuguese-americans look like, but these two look very southern european. Nothing unusual about them.

Most Portuguese-Americans are from the Azores, at least where I live. The looks are mostly Mediterranid/Atlantic-Med types, some darker, exotic etc.

I've also known azoreans and they look the same as mainlanders from what i could gather. Maybe you got the wrong idea from the first pic, but i know them from TV.
