well, women are either large headed or Alpine- but pigmentation is very mixed/irregular. the latter is why i m assuming it could be Brest. i never been there so its just assumption of course. Nice choices though

It´s better with groups than with individuals, and I think it´s better with more old photos, and specially with B&W images.

Yes, it´s a photo taken in Brest in 1947-8.:thumb001:

This one was quite easy.

They are students in an academic institution in the health sector.

Maybe not all of them were native of the area, but surely at that time most of them would not be from very far away as would happen with a nowadays photo. Anyway, Brest was an industrial city, and probably that attracted people from other regions of France (and maybe other neighbouring countries)

I don´t know what opine British Islands natives, but I see that many of those women had a celtic vibe. Others had more "mediterranean" vibe, and many of them shows mixed traits. I am not very good inthis, so I explain it with my own words. :D

I thought was clear to see that they were from where they actually are (as a group).

There is one woman that shows non-europeans traits, maybe with partial or complete ancestry from some French colony, I think that was an obvious "outlier", and could have been a clue to choose the correct option also.
