Same idea that previous one.

1-Portugal (center region, South East Viseu)
2-Spain ( Aragón, near Sos del Rey Católico)
3-Italy( Umbria, near Viterbo)
4-France (Occitanie, near Albi)
5-Croatia (Dalmatia)

There are some clues
The hard, compact, white limestone the buildings are made off leaves me hesitating between Dalmatia and Umbria.

Rather Umbria, Italy

I will add a new photo from the same place (70´s), because this one could be more difficult:

I noticed it , and this is one of the reasons that did me choose these options and no others.;)

In the 5 regions is used this type of buildings.

Edit: not the only reason, obviously, the main reason is the people itself.

Portugal

Spain.

The correct answer is: San Giorgio, piccolo borgo del Comune di Cascia, Umbria, Italy.

The main city I saw at a similar latitude in the Italian peninsula and near that village was Viterbo, Gondor, I didn´t say that Viterbo was Umbria, i said "near Viterbo", and not "int he same province or region than Viterbo".

I did only a fast search so maybe there is another more important city near, but I didn´t see it.

But honestly, on the second pic, the priest emits a strong Spanish vibe.

Ya, a mí me parecían portugueses en un pueblo español.

Yo hubiera dicho españoles sin dudar.

yeas, i think exactly the same, they look 100% Southern Spaniards or Portuguese, and the village looks more Spanish than portuguese.

You have had a very good point with the limestone,I also usually look at those little details to help me choose. :thumb001:

France was to rule out: in the Albi region old houses are timber framed and made of red brick...

Anyway, even in the most remote villages of Southern France, people are awfully heterogeneous, you won't find groups of five or six individuals who look like they were from the same family.

YES! I can't wait.

B]

I think than in all occitanie near Albi and in Tarn, villages are also made with those roofs and that type of limestone, but well, I am not French.

I will post one more similar thread.

First picture i thought could be from here. Second picture the religious clothes of the priests and kids didn't look familiar somehow.

I'm part Umbrian I'm ashamed that I wiffed, the second picture threw me off, the location didn't look like Italy in 70' IMO, but I'm not that old to really know

Why asshamed?

The people in 70'´s had a peculiar look that many times makes it difficult to guess where they are from.
