Post the average of your own ethnicity and compare it with your own result using G25 :) I prefer to use G25 Modern (Scaled) but I think any major model can do the job.

I'm primarily of Hungarian origin (Hungarian+Szekely), but my results are often quite different from average Hungarians. This is my comparison:

Nice results Oszkar, you are really a midpoint between average Hungarians and Brits, but more Western European :)

Also, does anyone have an idea why the Hungarian average gets modeled as 0.2 - 0.4 % SSA?

There are too many Turkish samples on G25. So, I just compared myself and Balkan Turks using regular spread sheet (0.25X was too messy, also Davidski suggests 1X, so I went with 0.5X and 1X). I also made a simple model and included Anatolian Turks as well.

I perceived that in many calcs like this one I score some indian elements (eg "Madiga") or others from the Caucasus ("Armenian Hemsheni" in this case)...
I wonder if I have some Romani gypsy disctant ancestry settled in Spain who mixed with the rest of the family and that would explain it.
Or may be another chance would be that I could score those elements because I have very high Neolithic farmer roots and that could explain why I score some splits of those areas. I really don't know... :confused:

I have chosen for Spain to do it with the coordinates of Andalusia since I am Andalusian by both parents and in turn by both sides of grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents and parents of great-great-grandparents. I have eliminated the rest of the Spanish samples since the differences are minimal and leaving only the Basque ones for what they say are so different from the rest of the Spanish.

Having recent Slav ancestry from the Carpathian Mountains region (from great grandmother) has changed my result, but there are still clear matches to my dominant ancestry.

Both Irish and Scottish samples tend to be similar, as well as some English ones. But only a few have strong enough "Norwegian" to be considered. However the average of all samples are completely off. Not a single one fits me. Norwegian is the only one that fits obviously because it has the most Norwegian on average.
