It is MOSTLY SSA here but may include a great deal of "Ibero-Maurusian" in case you're Iberian or Maghrebi.

Oh ok, so it includes "Ibero-Maurusian" for sure then.

Actually I only did with My Heritage so far, I used raw data to get results from ftDNA. That's how I found out the haplogroup, using the raw data on some site.

Here it is:

If I understand correctly, you uploaded your raw data from MyHeritage onto FTDNA and from that they determined that your Y Haplogroup is most likely R1a. Does your direct paternal line go to Iberia or somewhere else? I assume that you're actually not Japanese. It puzzles me why so many people put erroneous info on their profiles.

I recommend doing a Y-DNA test with FTDNA to accurately define your Y haplogroup. If there is a surname study for your last name, do the test through it. Otherwise do it thru a regional Y-DNA project for the country or geographic area in which you believe your direct male line originated. FTDNA usually runs Christmas sales in December.

Yes my direct paternal line go to Iberia. I'm either R1a or R1b, on another site that predicts haplogroup it said I was most likely R1b.

It's so weird and I can't understand how a lot of people get results like Irish, English, etc on many DNA tests (like Hungarians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Slovaks, etc)

Meanwhile I'm one of the most Balkanic guy one can imagine xD I think that's how hundreds of years came out for me, 90-95% of my ancestry is from the Balkans basically.

You can't take them seriously. Before this update my brother had 11% Southeastern Europe and I had 9% with update it has completely disappeared.

I've noticed I have a trace added even after the latest update <1 Baltic.

Great Britain 67%
Ireland 25%
Scandinavia 6%

My new results are much better than what they were previously. I’m intrigued to see MyHeritage’s update next, whenever that may be.

Ftdna with the new version In my opinion Is better for Latin americans they detect exatcly your native american. Specially for both Central americans Panamanian & Costan rican confirmed your location basically "native central america"

23andme gives a lot unassigned specially with the Amerindian DNA.

This used raw data from a MyHeritage sample, which uses the same chip as FTDNA, if I'm not mistaken.

Interestingly, this doesn't differentiate the input from my Anatolian Greek grandmother, meanwhile MyHeritage showed 12.5% "West Asian".

I'm not sure how to interpret the Italian percentage. MyHeritage gave 7,2% Italian, which I guess means Central/North Italian because they group south Italian with mainland Greek. Maybe it's just Greek but interpreted as Italian because of proximity and not enough Greek samples?
